CALLIGRAPHY – 4 SESSIONS Thursday, May 10, 17, 24 & 31, 2012 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm Ralph Rinaldi $65.00 The purpose of this class is to give an appreciation of and to instruct students to one form of calligraphy "Renaissance Italic." Each class session will have different exercises using a felt tip pen. The area of concentrationn is learning to to the alphabet, upper and lower case using Renaissance Italic.
DRAWING WITH DIANE – 4 SESSIONS
Thursday, May 24, 31, June 7 & 14, 2012 6:00pm - 8:00pm And Thursday, July 12, 19, 26 & August 2, 2012 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm Diane Radtke $65.00 each 4 sessions Explore drawing in various mediums; colored pencil, pen & ink, and watercolor pencil. WATERCOLOR ONE-DAY WORKSHOP Friday, May 18, 2012 10:30 am - 2:30 pm
Janet Wharry $45.00 As you create a watercolor painting using a photo reference, along with watercolor techniques, you will learn techniques to see light, shade and color as an artist sees them. This class will comprise of short demos and individualized guidance. A project will be available but feel free to bring your own photo reference. Any subject matter is fine. The class is suitable for anyone, from beginner to advanced artist.
SEPIA COLORED PENCIL ONE-DAY WORKSHOP Friday, June 8, 2012 10:30 am - 2:30 pm Janet Wharry $45.00 Use a limited palette of colored pencils to learn basic colored pencil techniques and train your eye to see light and shadows. This class will comprise of short demos and individualized guidance. A photo reference will be provided. Although the focus will be on sepia portraits, feel free to bring your own photo reference of any subject. This class is suitable for all levels.
CATHY’S KIDS "SUMMER CAMP" ART CLASS Please call for dates/times Cathy Huntoon $65.00 A series of art classes with specific projects will be offered each week. Students will complete a project in drawing or painting or manga-style art or sculpey clay. Samples of the various projects will be on display in our store showcase. Cathy will provide individual attention allowing children to work at their own pace. Ages 8 years and up are welcome.

PEN & INK/CROSSHATCH Saturday, July 7, 14, 21 & 28, 2012 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm LaDean Birkhead $65.00 With pen & ink, learn to use the pointillism or stipple technique to render a landscape or still-life drawing. Or, explore crosshatch, a drawing technique using pencil strokes to show light, shadow and shape. Bring a sketch, photograph or picture reference.
